The D. Pedro V Municipal Market will host two artist residencies during April and May, as part of the Digital Shopping Neighborhoods project, entitled @Baixa Criativa: Mercado de Arte e Tradições. The artistic residencies aim to enhance traditional handicrafts, boost local commerce and promote the creative economy in downtown Coimbra. This initiative by Coimbra City Council (CM) has the collaboration of several invited entities. Today, April 8, the councillor responsible for Markets and Fairs, as well as Entrepreneurship, Investment and Employment, Miguel Fonseca, visited the artist residency spaces.
